WEDDING DAY “DREAMS VS. REALITY” 6 Things that “Get Real” on the Day of Your Wedding

1) TIME THE DREAM-“We made a great schedule! Our wedding day will be a breeze and stress-free!” THE REALITY-We have all heard the phrases, “You can’t stop time…time marches on…look at the time!” On a wedding day, these phrases couldn’t be more true! The reality is, EVERTHING will take longer than expected, so making sure your schedule has some breaks or cushions built in will offset the “time losses”, which will allow some breathing room and reduce stress. 2) PEOPLE  THE DREAM-“Our guests will know what to do at the times we want them to.” THE REALITY-Your guests will do one of two things…what they are accustomed to OR whatever everybody else is doing. For example, if you want your guests to stay outside the main room for a cocktail hour, they will probably only do so if the door to the room is locked.
